If sufficient numbers of applications (minimum 100) are not received for any City/ Centre, conduct of examination at that City/Centre may be cancelled and such candidates may be allotted a Test City/Centre according to the second and third preference furnished by them. For the Under Graduate Programmes, applicant should be an Indian National and must not have attained 20 years in case of General/OBC/Persons with Disability (PWD) and Other category candidates and 22 years in case of SC/ST category candidates, by 1st July 2014. Applicant should have passed the 10+2 examination and must have secured 45% marks in case of General/OBC/PWD and other category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST category. The result of qualifying examination (10+2) has to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course. Those appearing in qualifying examination in March/April 2014 are also eligible to apply subject to the conditions specified. The CLAT-2014 Question Paper for UG courses shall have multiple choice type questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks and the test will be of 2 hours duration. There will be 200 questions from English including Comprehension (40 Marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 Marks), Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) (20 Marks), Legal Aptitude (50 Marks) and Logical Reasoning (40 Marks). Each wrong answer will results in loss of 0.25 Mark. Answers are to be marked/darkened in the OMR sheet with black ball point pen only. There will be Long Essay Type Descriptive Questions (100 Marks - 4 questions of 25 marks each, pertaining to subject areas such as Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence; Multiple-Choice Questions carrying 50 Marks (50 questions of 1 mark each covering all subjects except Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence prescribed by BCI for Under-Graduate Courses). It is essential to have prior admission to the institution and course chosen. The Foundation will not consider candidates without admission or pending admission. The institutions concerned must only be top rank. Candidates must be below 30 years of age on the first of July in the year of application. Candidates who are already studying or have started their program abroad are not eligible. The award of other grants, teaching assistantships and support from other sources for the proposed program will be regarded by the Foundation as a positive factor. The Foundation also encourages applications from young people currently employed. Application and Selection Procedure: Application forms are available from the 10th of January to the 15th of April from the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation, c/o Inlaks India Foundation, 86/87 Atlanta, Nariman Point Mumbai 400021. Candidates in architecture, fine and applied arts, and related subjects must submit a maximum of 10 samples of their work on a CD / DVD only, giving the size of the original, the material used and the date of completion. This material will not be returned. Candidates for Film, Dance and Acting must submit a CD / DVD too. The images must only be in jpeg format, not tiff format. A portfolio may be submitted also, if it is not too bulky. Evidence of any outstanding achievements in extra-curricular activities in any field. Do not send copies of academic certificates with the completed form. These will be needed only at the time of the final interviews.An independent Inlaks Selection Committee carries out the selection. Applications received are analyzed and evaluated, and the committee subsequently calls the most interesting candidates for interviews. All applicants must be available for interviews in India. They usually take place in Mumbai or Delhi in May or in June, in two stages: preliminaries, and for those who make it, finals. Candidates short-listed for the interviews will have to arrange for their own travel and accommodation. MBA 2014 at Birla Institute of Technology Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 2-year (4-semester) full-time MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme 2014 at Mesra, and it's Off Campuses at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur, Noida and Patna. Eligibility Criteria for the full-time MBA programme 2014: 1) Candidates must have appeared in CAT-2013. 2) Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU.
